Study interior landscape architecture's impact on human-centered sustainable design. This session will present the most relevant and compelling findings on the environmental impact of plants on people's physical, psychological and behavioral needs within the built environment. They will gain practical insight into the bottom-line and human-centered benefits to designing with interior plants.

American Institute of Architects/ Continuing Education System (1 LU, HSW)
All active AIA members must successfully complete 18 learning unit (LU) hours each year, with at least 8 of the 18 LU hours relating to health, safety, and/or welfare (HSW).
"Authentically Green Interiors" is a PowerPoint® presentation that shows the health and environmental benefits of indoor plants in the workplace. Examples of plants proven to be beneficial and photos of how they are used in the interior design are showcased. This fulfills 1 Learning Unit for AIA.
This 50 minute, no cost program (with an additional 10 minutes for questions and discussions) can be used as a Lunch-n-Learn program or for your chapter meetings.

Maintain Your LEED Credential! Enroll now for GPGB's CMP Approved Course.
LEED Professionals can look to USGBC for the courses they require to maintain their credentials under the Green Building Certification Institute's (GBCI)LEED Professional Credentialing Maintenance Program (CMP). GBCI has confirmed that all of USGBC's education courses and programs satisfy these requirements. As GBCI's first Education Reviewing Body (ERB), USGBC is the only third-party organization authorized to review and approve courses to support CMP requirements.

BOMI - Building Owners and Managers Institute
The Continuing Professional Development Program requires RPA, FMA, and SMA graduates to acquire 18 points of continuing education credit every three years in order to maintain active status in their designation.

ASID Continuing Education Units
ASID sponsors a wide range of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in varying lengths and topics, all of which are evaluated in accordance with strict IDCEC guidelines. You do not have to be an ASID member to receive CEU credit for this course.
ASID requires practitioner members to complete 6 contact hours of continuing education coursework (0.6 CEUs) every two years to retain their membership. Click here for more information.
Many of the states or provinces that have laws regulating the practice of interior design and/or the use of a title require continuing education as a condition of renewal. If you practice in one or more of these states or provinces, you should contact the appropriate state board or agency for information about specific requirements.
